How to use CosClay Sculpt
- Preparation: Before use, knead the clay thoroughly to soften and condition it. This ensures it's pliable and easy to work with.
- Modeling: Shape the clay into your desired form using sculpting tools. The clay maintains excellent detail and can be manipulated with precision.
- Blending: Cosclay SCULPT blends smoothly, allowing you to create seamless transitions between different parts of your sculpture.
- Detailing: Take advantage of the clay's high green strength to add intricate details without distortion.
Baking Instructions:
- Temperature: Preheat your oven to the recommended temperature of 135°C (275°F).
- Support: Place your sculpture on a baking tray lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.
- Baking Time: Bake for approximately 30 minutes per 6mm (¼ inch) thickness. For thicker pieces, increase baking time accordingly.
- Cooling: Once baked, allow the sculpture to cool completely before handling.
Additional Tips:
- Monitor the baking process closely to avoid overbaking.
- Avoid using a higher temperature than recommended to prevent scorching or burning the clay.
- After baking, you can sand, carve, or paint the cured sculpture to further refine your artwork.
